I operate under the latest British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists COVID-19 guidelines and as well as the above I am required to ask all patients the following questions relating to Covid-19 prior to their appointment.
1. Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 7 days? YES / NO
2. Are you waiting for a COVID-19 test or the results? YES / NO
3. Do you have any of the following symptoms:
- New, continuous cough
- High temperature or fever
- Loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste
4. Do you live with someone who has either tested positive for COVID-19 or had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days? YES / NO
I ask clients to let me know if their answer is YES to any of the above.* To reassure them, I have to apply the same questions to myself and currently my answers are NO to all of the above.
